All economic activities projects are eligible, with particular focus on those producing products and services that can be exported to the international market.
According to the Portuguese Economic Activities Classification (CAE), These following types of companies are not eligible for financial support or grant.
- Financial and Insurance
- Public Administration and Defense
- Lottery and other Gambles
The financial support and grant can be found in those public entities: Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (IAPMEI), the Employment and Vocational Training Institute (IEFP), the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth (IPDJ), and the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE)
